Terms & Conditions

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract to use the Site. You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account, and you agree to provide accurate, current information. We offer two-factor authentication for all accounts and recommend enabling it; we may require it, or additional verification steps, for certain accounts or actions as a security measure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, provide false information, or that we reasonably associate with fraud or abuse.

All prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED) unless stated otherwise and may change at any time before an order is placed. Product listings, images and descriptions are provided in good faith; minor variations (e.g. packaging revisions by the manufacturer) may occur. Obvious pricing or listing errors do not bind us — if we discover one after you order, we may cancel and fully refund the order.

Your order is an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only when payment is confirmed by our payment provider. We may refuse or cancel orders at our discretion (including for suspected fraud, stock errors, or export restrictions); anything already paid on a cancelled order will be refunded in full.

Sealed products are sold as sealed. Once a sealed product's factory seal is broken by you, it cannot be returned as sealed product. Trading cards and collectibles fluctuate in value; nothing on the Site is investment advice, and we make no representation about the future value of anything we sell.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (currently Stripe). We never store full card numbers. You represent that you are authorised to use the payment method provided. Chargebacks raised in bad faith on delivered goods are treated as fraud and may result in account termination and recovery action.

We ship from Dubai, UAE, tracked and protected. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to your address (or collection point). For international orders, you are the importer of record: customs duties, VAT and import fees at destination are your responsibility, and refusal to pay them does not entitle you to a refund of shipping costs.

You must inspect deliveries promptly and report damage or missing items within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and contents. Claims reported later may be declined where the delay prevents a carrier claim.

Unopened sealed products in original condition may be returned within 7 days of delivery at your cost; refunds are issued after inspection. The following are non-returnable except where faulty, not as described, or required by UAE consumer protection law: opened or unsealed products, graded or raw singles (condition-sensitive goods),Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Nothing in these Terms limits your non-waivable rights under UAE consumer protection law.

The trade section is a venue for collectors to list items and exchange offers. Collectiverse is not a party to, broker of, or guarantor of any trade between users. Creating a listing or making an offer requires a signed-in account and constitutes acceptance of these Terms — first-time listers and offerers confirm this explicitly, and we keep a record of that acceptance.

Review is not a guarantee.We review every listing and its photographs before publication, to the maximum extent reasonably possible, and we may reject or remove listings that fail our standards. This review covers listing content only: it is not authentication, grading, or physical inspection of any item, and it is not a verification of any user's identity. Approval of a listing does not mean Collectiverse endorses the item or warrants its authenticity, condition, or value, and we are not responsible for the performance, safety or outcome of any trade. You deal with other users at your own risk — verify items yourself before exchanging, use tracked and insured shipping, and prefer in-person verification for high-value trades.

Creating a listing requires a verified account: a confirmed email address and a display name and phone number on your profile. These contact details are not shown publicly; they exist so that an identifiable, reachable person stands behind every listing, and may be used to contact you about your listings or disclosed where required by law.

When an offer is accepted, we share each party's display name and email address with the other so they can arrange the exchange — that is the extent of contact-detail sharing between users. Offer messages sent through the platform are stored and may be reviewed by our team for safety, fraud prevention and moderation. Communication that moves off the platform (email, phone, messaging apps) is between you and the other user and is not monitored by Collectiverse.

Trade chat messages are retained for 30 days from the time they are sent and are then automatically and permanently deleted. Save anything you need — agreed terms, addresses, tracking numbers — before then; deleted messages cannot be recovered and Collectiverse accepts no liability for their unavailability. We may preserve specific messages beyond 30 days where reasonably required for an active dispute investigation, fraud prevention, moderation or compliance with law. The trade record itself (listings, offers, acceptances and completion confirmations) is retained independently of chat messages.

You may only list items you own and may lawfully sell. Counterfeit, stolen or misrepresented items are prohibited; we may remove listings, withhold platform access, and report unlawful activity to authorities. Any disputes arising from a trade are between the users involved.

You agree not to:

• use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of UAE law;
• use bots, scripts or automated means to buy products, scrape the Site, or bypass rate limits and security measures;
• attempt to access accounts, data or systems you are not authorised to access;
• circumvent pricing, reservations, or checkout mechanics;
• harass, defraud or mislead other users, or upload unlawful or infringing content;
• resell access to the Site or misrepresent affiliation with Collectiverse.

We may suspend or terminate access and cancel orders obtained in breach of this section.

The Site, its design, branding and content are owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable IP laws. You may not copy or reuse them without written permission. Trading card brands, leagues, teams and player names referenced on the Site (including, without limitation, Panini, Topps, and sports organisations) are trademarks of their respective owners. Collectiverse is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them.

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, loss of profit, or loss of expected collectible value. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of the Site or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the order giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UAE law, including for fraud.

You will indemnify and hold harmless Collectiverse General Trading LLC, its owners and staff from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your trades with other users.

We may update these Terms from time to time; the version published on the Site at the time of your order or activity applies to it. Material changes will be indicated by updating the date above. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. We may assign these Terms as part of a business transfer; you may not assign them without our consent.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer forum you may be entitled to.
